Attendance & Invitations

  • If your invitation includes a plus-one, we would love to welcome them! If you're unsure, feel free to reach out to us directly.

  • As much as we love little ones, we kindly ask that this celebration remains adults-only so everyone can relax and enjoy our time together to the fullest.

  • Please RSVP by 31 January 2027 through the RSVP page on this website. We’ll use your response to confirm your place at each event and collect dietary requirements and other details.

  • Please contact us directly as soon as possible if your plans change. The earlier we know, the easier it is for us to update the catering, seating, and transportation arrangements.

Travel & Accommodation

  • The nearest international airport is Lisbon (LIS), located approximately a three-hour flight from Zurich (ZRH). We recommend renting a car at Lisbon airport to get to the wedding venue and your accommodation within less than an hour. We typically book rental cars in Portugal via Economy Car Rentals. As June is a popular time to visit Portugal, we would encourage you to book your flights, rental car and accommodation rather sooner than later.

  • We recommend staying at least from Tuesday, 8 June (early arrival) to Friday, 11 June 2027 to fully enjoy the celebrations and explore the region. For those extending their trip, we suggest combining a few days in Lisbon with some well-deserved time by the coast before or after the wedding.

  • To keep everyone together and close to the celebrations, we have reserved rooms at Cambeiros Guest House and Cas'Amaro Wine Hotel. You'll find our recommended options on the Travel & Stay page.

    In short, we recommend staying at Cambeiros Guest House if you're up for a slower experience off the beaten track. Cas'Amaro Wine Hotel is a great choice if you prefer exploring your surroundings and enjoy a more central location with a fantastic restaurant nearby as a starting point.

  • If you have requested a reservation at one of our recommended hotels through this form, you can expect to receive a booking confirmation directly from the hotel during the first quarter of 2027. If you have not heard from them by then, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

  • Yes. Shuttles will be available between the main recommended hotels and the respective locations. Full timings will be shared closer to the celebration.

    Please note that transportation can only be provided to and from the recommended hotels. If you're staying elsewhere or need help arranging transfers from Lisbon Airport, feel free to reach out and we'll be happy to recommend a taxi or transfer service.

  • In principle, yes. Parking information will be shared with guests ahead of the wedding.

  • Yes! We'll be spending the weekend after the wedding, from Friday, 11 June to Sunday, 13 June 2027, at Noah Surf House in Santa Cruz and would love for anyone who feels like extending the celebrations to join us for a little friendsmoon.

    Santa Cruz is a charming seaside town known for its long sandy beaches, dramatic coastline and laid-back atmosphere. You're welcome to stay wherever you'd like. As long as you're staying somewhere near the town centre, everything should be within easy walking distance. We'll most likely spend our days at the beach, go for an occasional swim, and meet up for drinks, lunches or dinners along the way. There won't be a fixed programme, though. Everything will be very relaxed, organised via WhatsApp and entirely optional.

  • More than we could possibly fit into an FAQ! We've collected some of our favourite restaurants, cafés, beaches and day trips on the Travel & Stay page, and we've also curated a Google Maps list over the past 10 years with plenty more recommendations. We would love for you to turn the wedding into a little holiday and experience this beautiful country that means so much to both of us.

Wedding Day

  • A detailed schedule of all wedding events will be published on this website closer to the celebrations. We'll make sure to keep you updated by email whenever new information becomes available.

  • Garden chic — think summer elegance with a touch of glamour. Linen suits, silk dresses, soft pastels or blooming spring tones. If you’d like a little extra inspiration, feel free to explore our moodboard.

  • Early June in Carmões usually brings sunshine and warm breezes. We recommend light, breathable fabrics during the day and a shawl or jacket once the sun sets.

  • As long as the weather is on our side, all celebrations will take place outdoors, surrounded by vineyards and nature. The only exception is the after-party, which will take place indoors so we can dance long into the night.

Dining & Entertainment

  • Our menu is rooted in a vegan approach to reflect the love and kindness we wish to share on our wedding getaway. As we get closer to the celebration, we will publish a detailed menu on this website. If you have any allergies or specific dietary needs, please let us know in the RSVP form so we can take good care of you.

  • Please add any dietary requirements or allergies to your RSVP. We'll make sure the catering team is informed and that suitable alternatives are available for you if needed.

  • Yes. We’ll be serving sparkling and natural wines, classic cocktails, signature drinks, digestifs and non-alcoholic options throughout the celebration.

  • Absolutely. We want the dance floor to feel like a celebration of all of us. You can add a song request when you RSVP, or send it to us directly before the wedding. We’ll pass our favourites along to the band and DJ and do our best to include as many as possible.

Gifts & Contacts

  • Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. For anyone who would still like to give something, we'll be sharing information about our honeymoon fund on this website closer to the wedding.
